The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Golf program has started off the spring season well.  A 3rd place finish in both the Rome News-Tribune Invitational and the Lee University Invite has the Patriots knowing they can compete not only within the Mid-South Conference but with the top teams in the NAIA.

The Patriots were voted #13 in the NAIA Top 25 Poll for the week of March 16th.  That is a drop of one position from the Preseason Poll where the Patriots were voted #12 in the country.

Oklahoma City University remains the top ranked team in the country, but has lost some first place votes in the process.  Other notable teams in the Top 25 include Shorter University (#7) and Lindsey Wilson (#23).  Cumberland University, Union College, and Campbellsville University also received votes in this edition of the poll.

The Patriots will be back on the links on Thursday March 22nd and March 23rd as they host the 2nd annual Southeastern Kentucky Invitational (SEKI) at Crooked Creek Golf Course in London, KY.
