The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's Swimming teams are well on their way to national competition, with several swimmers making the cut to compete. On Friday, UC once again showed they are a team that deserves national recognition, as they placed once again, but this time in the final NAIA Coaches Poll rankings.  

The Patriots Men's Swim Team has ranked in the top five, in the fifth place spot, receiving three votes. This pole is voted upon by a panel of head coaches from the NAIA Swimming & Diving Coaches Association.

Those Patriots swimmers that qualified will be competing this week, February 29-March 3, 2012 in the NAIA Swimming & Diving National Championships hosted by Oklahoma City Community College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
