The Women's College Wrestling Association (WCWA) has released their latest rankings for National Champions and top eight individual women in the nation.

The overall rankings placed Oklahoma City University as number one in the nation for the third year in a row. King College and Simon Frasier University were ranked in the second and third spots behind the stars of Oklahoma City University. The University of the Cumberlands held the seventh place ranking and hope to move up in the polls. 

The WCWA also ranked top eight individuals in the nation and the Patriots had several women represent UC in those rankings.

Starting off the rankings in 101lb weight class holding the number three spot is Ophelia Felipe (Rome, GA). The Patriots received a number one ranking in the 116lb weight class with senior Gabrielle Henry (Columbus, OH).

Looking at the 130lb weight class senior Cianah Hee (Honolulu, HI) received a number three ranking. Ranked number eight representing the 136lb weight class was Lauren Louive (Massolin, OH).

The 136lb weight class was well represented with Liza Gutierrez (El Paso, TX) receiving a fifth place ranking, Kayla Petit (Goodrich, MI) receiving a seventh place ranking, and Olivia Peters (Grayling, MI)receiving an eighth place ranking.

On December 3, 2011, the Patriots will host the Cumberlands Duals for their only home tournament of the season
