Recently the NAIA recognized the athletes named 2011 NAIA All Americans. This honor is held by the top 30 finishers in the NAIA National Cross Country Championships that were held in Vancouver, WA on November 19th.

Senior Patriot runner Landon Hamilton (Andover, OH) earned this honor for his top 30 finish at the NAIA National Championship.    

   

Landon advanced to Nationals after placing 3rdin the Mid-South Conference Cross Country meet with a qualifying time of 25:57. Hamilton has had a tremendous senior season and earned several MSC Runner of the Week honors this season. He finished in 26thplace at Nationals with a time of 24:46.

When asked about receiving this honor Hamilton remarked, "This is a tremendous honor and I am very proud to be one of the few athletes that have received this recognition.  It took so much hard work, but this is what we worked for the entire season and finally having an injury free season really did pay off for me."
