The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's swim and dive team traveled to Bristol, Tennessee on November 12thto compete against King and Milligan College. The men won over both King (113-65) and Milligan (114-69). The women's team had many swimmers step up but they fell to both Milligan (63-111) and King (62-101). 

Winners for the Patriots include:

  • Men's 200 Medley Relay (1:40.83) – Wes Miller (Largo, FL), Jake Wood (Cicero, IN), Sam Hoeferle (Cicero, IN), Jared McPherson (Kingston, TN)
  • John Leistner (Ashland, KY) – 1000 Free (10:55.81)
  • Jake Wood (Cicero, IN) – 200 IM (2:07.68)
  • Joe Brinkman (Commerce Township, MI) – 500 Free (5:03.86)
  • Wes Miller (Largo, FL) – 200 Free (1:49.85), 100 Back (54.51)
  • Elizabeth Davis – 1 Meter Diving (197.90 Points)
  • Jared McPherson (Kingston, TN) – 100 Free (50.40)
  • Men's 400 Free Relay (3:26.58) – John Leistner (Ashland, KY), Joe Brinkman (Commerce Township, MI), Sam Hoeferle (Cicero, IN), Jimmy Hall (Barboursville, KY)

Head Patriot Swim Coach Eric Skelly commented, "I think we had some sluggish swims but overall I'm pleased with those who competed. We had a few people step up this meet." Joe Brinkman (Commerce Township, MI) was the only swimmer to qualify for yet another NAIA National Bonus cut in the 200 Free (1:50.08).

The Patriots next competition will be at Western Kentucky University on November 18-20,where they will compete in the Western Kentucky University Invitational against several Division I teams.
