Earlier this week the NAIA head coaches for cross country gathered together and cast their votes for the national predicted champions of both men's and women's cross country teams.  This will be the last rankings released before the NAIA National Tournament next weekend.

The Patriot men and women's team did not make the top 25, but both teams did receive votes. The Patriot men held strong with 33 votes and the women earned themselves a total of 19 votes in the last set of rankings.

Ranked number one by the coach's poll for the men's side of the competition was Oklahoma Christian. The team received a unanimous number one ranking and earned a total of 591 points.

On the women's side of the competition Azusa Pacific received their twentieth straight number one ranking after earning 621votes.

Both the Patriot men and women's qualifiers will take a week off before traveling to Vancouver, Washington to compete in the NAIA National Cross Country Meet on November 19, 2011.
