Unfortunately, the Patriots were unable to get anything together as they fell to the Red Storm in three straight sets 3-0 by scores of 14-25, 18-25, 23-25.
Freshman Stacey Sebald (Cincinnati, OH) led the Patriots with 8 kills in the match while sophomore Kelsey Eastham (Urbana, OH) added 6 kills. The Patriots end the 2011-2012 season with an 18-10 record overall and one of the best seasons in recent history. Unfortunately, the Patriots lose seniors Alana Abbott (Lebanon, OH), Brittany Weinheimer, and Michelle Papas (Crestview Hills, KY) as their careers as Patriots came to an early end in the match.
The Patriots along with Head Coach Kara Clemenz will look to bounce back in the 2012-2013 season and build upon a team that made incredible strides this season.
