The Mid-South Conference announced their weekly conference awards for the week ending September 5th of this 2010 soccer season. University of the Cumberlands (UC) sophomore goalkeeper Dennis Kramer earns the Defensive Player of the Week honor for his performance against Southern Polytechnic State University on Saturday, September 4th.

This is Kramer's fourth Defensive Player of the Week honor in his career, earning the honor three times his freshman year.

The sophomore goalkeeper from Berlin, Germany recorded six saves in a 1-1 tie against #9 ranked Southern Polytechnic State University. Kramer allowed only one goal in the game, moving the Cumberlands record to 0-0-2 on the season. Kramer has already acquired one shutout for the season and allowed only a single goal thus far to hold a 0.82 goals against average.

The Patriots will play on home turf for their next game on Saturday, September 11th at 3:00 PM against Lee University.
