The University of the Cumberlands Women?s Golf Program is pleased to announce the signing of Kelli Garvin to the 2008-09 roster.
Garvin is a native of Catlettsburg, Kentucky. She spent her high school days on the green playing for Boyd County High School.
As a Lady Lion in 2007 Kelli was the Region 10 Runner-Up, a State Tournament Qualifier, and has been named to the All-Area County Girls Golf Team.
Cumberlands Head Golf Coach Chris Kraftick is pleased with his newest Patriot. ?I am really excited to add Kelli to our program,? Kraftick said. ?She had an excellent senior year at Boyd County and proved to be one of the best players in the 10th Region. I know she will adjust to the college game quickly and help us reach our goals in the coming seasons.?
The Cumberlands women?s golf program is young, but is growing and looking to tee off on the winning track with the help of signees such as Garvin.
