The University of the Cumberlands swimming program is pleased to announce the signings of Erin Hammond and Tim Noe to the 2008-09 roster.

Hammond is the daughter of Don and Deborah of Barbourville, Kentucky. Having attended school at home, Erin swam for Coach Dee Dole for recreation and club participation. Hammond is no stranger to the Patriot swimming program. She will join her sister current Patriot senior Sarah Hammond in the water this fall.

Noe is the son of Donald and Elizabeth of Beattyville, Kentucky. Tim spent his water logged days in the pool at Lee County High School. A top student academically, Noe carries with him a 3.7 GPA and anticipates on majoring in a Pre-Pharmacy program.

University of the Cumberlands Head Swimming Coach Garry Nelson is pleased with his 2008-09 recruiting class and looks for them to blend in well with his returnees. Having finished the NAIA National Meet with a fourth place finish overall for the women and fifth for the men, Nelson expects and demands success. Hammond and Noe will have to get their feet wet immediately and tone their skills to help contribute to a successful Patriot swimming program.
