Two Cumberland College women’s golfers recently received honors. The two ladies, Katie Bowers (Cadiz, KY) and Trisha Price (Auburn, IL), took their place on the 2005 Daktronics-NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes list. Recipients must be a junior or above in academic standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. All members must have been nominated by the institution’s head coach.

No other Mid-South Conference ladies received this honor.

Bowers, a religion major, is going to be a returning senior in the 05-06 season. Price, a biology major, was graduated at the May commencement exercises.
